These licenses are perpetual, meaning after a one-time payment, they can be used indefinitely. The license includes all necessary features for high availability and shared storage, with additional options for caching and data encryption available as add-ons.
How does SvSAN enhance data security?
SvSAN includes a data encryption feature that allows organizations to encrypt data being mirrored by the system. This feature is FIPS 140-2 compliant and compatible with any Key Management System (KMS) that uses KMIP, including StorMagic's own key manager, SvKMS. This ensures that sensitive data at vulnerable edge sites is protected without the need for costly OS or hypervisor-level solutions.
